Consentium Adjusted Token Supply 嘉信调整后的C币供应
Due to the overwhelming response from the Digifinex Swap, there is an update for new CSM total supply. 由于D网C币交换成果超出预期，因此嘉信更新了C币新的总供应量。
Over the two weeks of Digifinex CSM swap period, we witnessed a high volume of CSM(ERC20) deposit onto Digifinex. More than 88 million CSM were deposited onto Digifinex in just 14 days! Digifinex compiled the total users’ CSM holdings in their wallets and updated Consentium team that there are over 160 million CSM tokens to be swapped.
However, Consentium’s initial estimated calculation for total circulating CSM (ERC20) supply was only 150 million CSM. Therefore, our initial token supply for our new CSM is only 150 million.
In order for all user’s CSM tokens to be swapped on Digifinex, Consentium has to mint additional 29,804,859 CSM in order to meet the demand on Digifinex.
Do note that this new tokens added onto total new CSM supply is only for users and Consentium does not mint new tokens for company reserves. All existing supply are traded based on supply and demand in the open market.
For Exonium users who did not managed to swap their CSM during the swap period due to gas fee issue, we will be releasing an update regarding new CSM swap soon. The newly minted 29,804,859 CSM is inclusive of Exonium CSM holdings as well.
